Too Much Love is proud to present the legendary TRAXX! Both Traxx and the sound he deals with hail from Chicago, and he is now touring behind his extremely well-received debut album Faith, released late last year on his own Nation Records, as well as the single "In A Daze" from his Mutant Beat Dance project. This is a one of a kind chance to see a true international hero work his science for TML - an opportunity you don't want to miss!

Also with Traxx is a very special surprise guest - a truly remarkable night is in store for First Avenue tonight.

For more information and streaming music, check out the Nation website, or check out Traxx's DJ set  on Tim Sweeney's world-famous radio show Beats In Space.  Also read Resident Advisor's fascinating feature and interview with Traxx.
"Melvin Oliphant III (a.k.a. Traxx) may be a freak for the Jakbeat, and we assume you’ll be in the same boat after absorbing the first few cuts off his upcoming album" XLR8R June 2009
"For Melvin Oliphant III, a.k.a. Traxx, being labeled a “DJ” or “producer” doesn’t quite cut it. As an artist—as he prefers to be called—he’s traversed classic Chicago house, acid, techno and many things in between... the forthcoming album Faith manages to be spooky, raw and soulful all at once. " TIME OUT Chicago July 2009
"Faith is a lengthy testament to an undying love for Chicago's nearly forgotten sound that once redefined dance music with legends like Phuture and Fast Eddie... " URB August 2009
