Mike Simonetti (Italians Do It Better)

We're taking you back to dancing school... TOO MUCH LOVE is proud to present MIKE SIMONETTI this Saturday.

After starting the influential post-punk and noise record label Troubleman Unlimited, Mike Simonetti began the dance-oriented Italians Do It Better imprint in 2006. IDIB has become one of the leading forces in American independent dance music, releasing incredible records from Glass Candy, Chromatics, Nite Jewel, and a growing list of unique and exciting bands and producers. Mike is a long-time DJ with an extremely extensive record collection and knowledge of music, and is known for rocking discerning dance-floors worldwide with all kinds of dance music, obscure and commonplace alike.

Last weekend's throwdown with Traxx was an appropriate way to kick-off the fall season.  Get prepped for this party - you won't want to miss it!

For a taste of what's to come, here is Mike's recent mix for FACT Magazine - not full of peak-time club hits, but a good first peek into his world.  Also check out Mike's often hilarious Twitter account.
