Too Much Johnny Love

[Facebook Event] [Flier]

This Saturday sees the Too Much Love debut of Johnny Love, a booking years in the making. I am thrilled for this to be happening, and First Ave is going to go crazy this weekend.

Johnny Love's illegal loft parties in Chicago, soundtracked by cutting-edge and classic dance music alike, with hundreds of dancing kids drenched in sweat and stripped to their underwear, were a direct inspiration for Too Much Love and for me to start DJing, period. Now located in LA, Johnny Love is one of the premiere DJs in the country, playing alongside too much talent to list here, in California and around the world.

Besides DJing, Love is also one half of Guns N Bombs. GNB has released two singles on French powerhouse Kitsuné Music, a world-reknowned label that has put out music from Digitalism, Fischerspooner, Alan Braxe & Fred Falke, Klaxons, Simian Mobile Disco, Hot Chip, A-Trak, Boys Noize, and many others. Besides their original material, Guns N Bombs have also done blistering official remixes for the Klaxons, Chromeo, the Gossip, Ghostface, the Cult, and more.

This is a TML not to be missed, so come early for drink specials, and help spread the word!
